My family has decorated our holiday tree with blue Christmas lights every year for as long as I can remember. We used incandescent C9 style bulbs for years and then decided we'd try LEDs two years ago. We bought blue C9s from Home Depot and they we dull and an odd color blue. An LEDChristmasLights.com employee recommended these as an alternative to the C9s and we love them! We thought the smaller bulbs wouldn't be bright enough but these are 5x's brighter than the C9s we had and none of us can believe how much better the blue LED light looks compared to our old lights.
